Dental Cleaning
Oral hygiene is paramount to your dental health. A dentist or oral hygienist primarily advises for preventive care by maintaining clean oral cavity, which include, the teeth, the soft palate, hard palate, tongue and gum.
At any point of time, the mouth of an average normal human is subjected to hundreds of bacterial ( precisely a little more than 600). Some of these bacteria may be helpful to our health, many are detrimental to oral health. these bad bacteria cause cavities in the teeth and that follows with gingivitis, bleeding gum , decaying of teeth, damaging nerves in the tooth and tooth pain.
Our dentists start with a thorough dental check up and depending on the requirement of the patient, tartar removal, deep dental cleaning , filling etc. are done. At times there may be a requirement for complete removal of a tooth or two. Sometimes patients may need root canal treatment to prevent further damage.
Our dentists advise to perform a dental cleaning in every 3 to 6 month. Regular dental cleaning and removal of tartar ensures preservation of the teeth and prevents any further damage which may be the result of bacterial growth.
